First a dreamcatcher tree, now a suncatcher tree? I know, I know...I'm just really into catchy trees ;P

I actually did this before the dreamcatcher trees but I've been considering on whether or not to show/sell it to you guys. I finally decided to just put it up and see what you guys think.

This is my very first huge suncatcher tree of life! It took a lot out of me lol I knew it would take a while to do but not as long as it took me! Maybe its because it was my first time but I really did my research and sketching on this one so that it would turn out well. I definitely didn't want to mess up an expensive and time consuming experiment ;) I think it paid off but I'd like to know what you guys think!

It took me a few weeks to make actually but I kept going on and off because it was very tedious and I can't work on things for too long or I'll get bored and/or mess up. Anyways a few weeks before I started this, someone asked me if I did suncatcher trees, mainly big ones ( 7 inches or bigger). I told her I didn't but I would if someone asked me to or if I felt motivated enough to make one. She insisted I make some or make them as a 'made-to-order' until I finally gave in and felt motivated to make one. Thus this long and tedious suncatcher was born!

I really like this one:heart: I've been constantly thinking of doing a purple/yellow tree. I don't know why but I just really like the color combos:heart: So I decided to use amethyst and citrine chips for this. I bought 7 in and 5 in rings for the frame and I couldn't decide which one to use. I was going to use the 5 in one since it would require less materials but I wanted to challenge myself so I made a 7 in one.

The result was worth it, in my opinion, but I don't plan to make another any time soon. It just takes too much out of you. Though I will if someone really wants one. I was thinking of making it a 'made-to-order' like the lady suggested but I'm not sure if people would really want one.

Let me know what you guys think of it and if I should make more or not:) Would you buy one? Comment below!

It's my first time in writing a critique on crafted items and not illustrations but I hope I'll be on spot.
To be honest, it's quite /catchy/. The color combo is very pretty and it gives a nice light game through the crystal pattern of the branches. Also the branches are very carefully woven so it looks clean and crisp. The head detail gives it a pretty fantasy accent like it's one of those magic items in fantasy stories, I can't help but to think that. Also the idea is original, I never heard of a 'tree' 'dream catcher' which is pretty interesting itself, not to mention each other detail that makes this piece so pretty.
